Consumer rights & NZ law

We observe New Zealand consumer protection laws. Key frameworks include the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 (CGA) and the Fair Trading Act 1986 (FTA).

Under the CGA, goods must be of acceptable quality, fit for purpose, and match their description. If we fail to meet these guarantees, you may be entitled to a repair, replacement or refund depending on the circumstances.

The FTA prohibits misleading and deceptive conduct, false representations and unfair practices. Product descriptions, images and delivery promises are made in good faith.

If you have a complaint, contact us first (see Business details). If unresolved, New Zealand consumers may seek redress via the Disputes Tribunal (claims up to NZ$30,000), or contact Citizens Advice or the Commerce Commission for guidance.

Returns, refunds and replacements

Per CGA, where goods are faulty or not as described, we will promptly offer a remedy such as repair, replacement or refund. For change-of-mind returns, fresh flowers are perishable and are not eligible for refund unless there is a fault or service failure.

To request a remedy, email Cheerdeals@outlook.com with order number, photos and details within 48 hours of delivery where practical.

Delivery, cancellations and liability

Delivery times and same-day availability depend on stock and courier capacity. We make reasonable efforts to deliver within promised windows but are not liable for delays caused by events outside our control (traffic, weather, courier issues).

Payment, security and intellectual property

Payments are processed by our payment provider using standard industry encryption. We do not store full payment card details on our servers. Prices include applicable GST where required by New Zealand law.
